Family A. contacted us via social media after searching in vain at several suppliers for the right fabrics and suitable window solutions for their home. For us at Golnia, the consultation process doesn't begin with simply showing products, but with a thorough on-site analysis: we assess the structure of each room, the natural light flow, and the individual usage patterns.
This holistic approach enables us to develop bespoke solutions that go far beyond standard offerings. Every room has its own requirements for light control, privacy, and aesthetics – and that's exactly what we address. With Family A., it quickly became clear that not every room called for the same type of window treatment.
In the dining room, for example, the family had initially considered classic sheers. However, the striking marble cladding beneath the window and the room's proportions told a different story. A floor-length curtain would have visually reduced the space and unnecessarily weighed down the window. Instead, we recommended wooden blinds in a dark tone that harmonized perfectly with the light walls and warm colors of the dining area.
The result convinced the family so thoroughly that the wooden blind became their absolute favorite. The adjustable slats allow for precise light control, while the window remains within its natural boundaries and lends the room a generous, high-quality atmosphere. This project exemplifies how important expert consultation is for a truly harmonious living concept.

- How did you discover Golnia and what convinced you?
- We discovered Golnia through social media. Previously, we had visited several suppliers, but nowhere did we find the fabrics and solutions that truly suited our home. With Golnia, it was different – here we found exactly the quality and selection we had been looking for. What was particularly impressive was that they didn't just show products, but really took the time to consider each room individually.
- In the dining room, you ultimately chose wooden blinds. How did that come about?
- Initially, we were thinking of classic curtains for the dining room. But the consultation showed us that this wouldn't have been the best solution because of the marble cladding beneath the window. The wooden blinds in a dark tone match perfectly with our light walls and warm color scheme. Plus, we can now adjust the light exactly as we need it. Honestly, the blinds have become my favorite product from the entire project – they simply look high-quality and harmonious.
- How did you experience the different solutions for the various rooms?
- That was truly a difference compared to other suppliers. In the living room, we got floor-length linen curtains in beige tones that harmonize beautifully with our furniture and make the room appear larger. In the kitchen, practical pleated blinds were installed, and in other rooms, subtle curtains with a sheen effect were used. Each room received exactly what it needed – not the same product everywhere, but individual solutions.
- Would you recommend Golnia to others?
- Absolutely! It's really wonderful that there's a supplier in the region who works this way. We visited many stores, but the fabrics and quality of consultation we received at Golnia simply didn't exist elsewhere.
